in the up axis, and noted by color, with blue to red representing the return
amplitude from weak to strong. Time is in the positive direction across the
page. The series of pings are depicted in the direction away from the viewer.
The continuous strong bottom returns are shown as a ridge across the screen.
Fish, bottom features, and a fishing line dropped from the test boat are shown
above the bottom.
